  1. How da fuq is this crap attached to the wall? Even my petite wife would rip it straight out if she tried any kind of serious exercise.

  2. The health care system should be revolutionized in every country. This device should be installed in every house and connected to your personal number and should track how often you work out, the more you workout the more health subsidies should be granted the less you workout and meaning you are unappreciative of your wellbeing, the more you should be debited upon sickness.

  3. I bet most of the negative comments are people that work out in their garage. This is a sleek compact home workout machine that fits with the interior design like a piece of furniture. It’s not meant to be mounted next to your 2001 Honda accord in the garage

  4. Is a monthly subscription mandatory or is it possible to use tonal without it? if it can be done without a subscription, what exactly would be lost from its functionality?

  5. I’ve had a terrible experience with this company. They scheduled an installation for today, but no one showed up, wasting my entire day. Their delivery partner, RXO, is incredibly rude. Now they’re saying the next available delivery won’t be until January, but I have no guarantee that it will happen. When I contacted Tonal’s customer service about the delivery issue, they told me to deal directly with the delivery company. After this ordeal, I can’t imagine doing business with them again. I even checked Tonal’s BBB page, and it’s filled with similar complaints. A real nightmare.

  6. The Luddite in me wants to not like this machine, but wow, such integration. I wonder what all the ancillary costs are associated with this machine? Are their monthly fees to access specific workout packages or does everything come at once. I’d imagine there’s a pretty robust backend offering (read monthly membership) that completes this concept.
(edit—>) $50/month for content, $500/bench+accessories+200 exercise access, $250 install fee

  7. I really love all the features Tonal has implemented with magnetic resistance, but… I have zero desire for a subscription. I am a far more experienced/educated trainer than anyone you might have, and that monthly fee just isn’t worth it to me. But can you use this without a subscription? No. So hard pass (And yes, I know you technically can use it without a subscription, but you needlessly cripple the features without one)

  8. STAY A MILLION MILES AWAY. I COMPLETELY REGRET BUYING THIS IN 2021. WITHOUT MY SUBSCRIPTION THE VAKUE OF HE MACHINE IS WORTHLESS. I AM SO UPSET I BOUGHT THIS. I WILL START TO CAMPAIGN AGAINTS THIS SHAM COMPANY. THEY PROMISED THE MACHINE WOULD BE JUST AS FUNCTIONAL WITHOUT SUBSCRIPTION. BUT THAT IS A LIE!!! ALL THE AI IS TAKEN AWAY. STAY AWAY. STAY AWAY. MY NAME IS DANIEL DEMBINSKY AND I AM A REAL CUSTOMER

  9. Tonal is a RIP-OFF!!!! I bought it, had it installed and purchased to mandatory 1 year subscription. Live classes, music, tracks your workouts and other cool features. Once the year was up i canceled the scrip and the machine basically stoped working. literally every feature on it disappeared!! what a joke. now its over $60. a month for the life of the machine that i already paid $4k for. what a rip-off!! i wish i could return it. Its nothing but a boat anchor on my wall now. buyer beware.!!

  10. This thing is terrible. I demo’d it at a local mall, and free weight benchpresses are impossible. No cable machine should EVER be used for bench presses, due to the fact that the proper bar path for a bench press is NOT a straight line. With anchor points in a fixed position on the floor, as you go throughthe proper range of motion, the machine puts torque on your elbows. Also, the "smart weight" feature stutters (you can even see it in the video above. It is not smooth in the slightest), and causes instability during lifts, potentially leading to injury. The buttons to turn the weght off in an emergency are extremely difficult to reach if your hands are in the proper position, so you have to "walk" your fingers over to one side (in the above video, on the benchpress portion, the users hands are NOT in the middle of the handles, where they should be, but off-center to better reach the buttons), and push the button, IF it even works, since the buttons are battery powered. Also, what if TONAL goes out of buisness? What if there’s a power outage? What if you want to workout in a different room, or outside? I’d hate to have my weights chained to the studs in my house, need electricity, and be controlled by a corporation who can change their terms and prices on a whim, and delete functionality if they go bankrupt.

  11. Assembly by myself was not too hard. I took my time and followed the diagrams. I particularly like the pictures and names of the exercises organized by muscle groups on the front of the https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxKJHyBZ9I1py9vVi-XLpEBg0y-qmdhn3q . Considering the number of exercises it has a relatively small footprint. I needed a machine that was not too tall because I only have 79" headroom in my cabin and this was just over 78". It is easy to use, seems to be well made, and I am pleased with my purchase. I am doing upper body muscles on Monday and Thursday. Lower body exercises are being done on Tuesday and Friday. Not using it on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. I am a reasonably fit 66 year old man and this is a great workout.

  12. Had one of these installed in our upstairs bonus room. My brother and I’ve done some of the built in programs and have burned 500 to almost 600 calories almost every time. The cost is a bit steep but I really love not having to wait in line for a machine at a gym. A great product overall

  13. Would have purchased this in a heartbeat after seeing your ads if you didn’t require mandatory subscription for most of the features to work. Almost 5 grands for a machine and you still require mandatory internet connectivity with a nearly 100 dollar monthly fee. Ridiculous business practice. I’ll wait for someone to jailbreak this first.

  14. Forced to seat thru your ad. Overweight gent looked like he was not lifting any weight. It’s called strength training for a reason. Not a good way to form a positive opinion.

  15. So let’s go engineer construction out there possibly for you guys maybe even a different way to absorb minerals or nutrition at the same way so instead of keeping track with just a blank 2D picture of a person let’s say we Outpost it and put some LED or laser construction that doesn’t all the way have radiation or something to it like it learns the rotation development of the body and we learn how to drop like medications inside of it and instead of absorbing from the inside the body we learn how to absorb from the outside through light rotations during your workout to find out if you’re taking the correct amount or if your body’s even contracting the correct rotation or spread all the way

  16. tonal is the best machine to exercise the scams that are not responsible with the guarantees in my house we bought one 6 months ago the handles no longer work for me I spoke I even sent a video and they still do not answer me I thought they were responsible only that disappoints me pity

  17. I’ve owned tonal and while it has some good things the company is very cheap and greedy. The monthly fees are ridiculous

  18. Mi pregunta es, alguna vez llegará a Latinoamérica.
Por qué estoy seguro que a más de uno le llamaría la atención si le hacen la propaganda perfecta

  19. Tonal is the biggest fitness scam you have to pay 3,500$ to get it and then the installation fee not only that but you have to pay for the workouts which can be 250$+ and you cant use it without a paid membership.

  20. Waaaaaaaant! 😳But they forgot to mention it needs a subscription to be able to use the different workout programs. Same with the ring door bell cam, you buy the device and cant record 24/7 unless you subscribe which costs. False advertisding on a great product.
